In a £2.1m investment – of which £300,000 came from the Scottish Green Bus Fund – Stagecoach has put seven Euro 6 ADL Enviro400 hybrids into service on its Kirriemuir/Forfar/Brechin to Dundee routes (20 and 21).

To a high-specification they have comfortable coach style E-Leather seating, free wi-fi and USB points.

The Scottish Green Bus Fund has so far assisted the purchase of 269 low carbon emission buses across Scotland for a number of operators.
Jon Oakey, Acting General Manager, Stagecoach East Scotland said: "These new vehicles will complement our existing 18 electric-hybrid buses already in the area, helping reduce our environmental impact and hopefully encourage more customers to opt for our greener, smarter travel.”
