Major fleet investment includes arrival of a 57-seat, two-axle VDL Futura FHD2 with Midlands operator
Birmingham operator Bouden Coach Travel has added a custom-built VDL Futura FHD2 to its fleet as it targets further expansion.
The coach is a 12.9m example that has 57 Vogel LS40 seats trimmed with leather headrests and piping. Each passenger also benefits from a three-point belt, a footrest, a drop-down table and a magazine net.
Says Director Adel Bouden: “We are very proud of how far we have come. We thank our loyal clients for their support and look forward to transporting them on our new coach.
“It is a very exciting time for us; this is just one of the new vehicles that we are introducing to our fleet. It is perfect for group travel requirements and it has been a pleasure working with Moseley (PCV) to bring the idea to life.”
Other elements of the specification include a Bosch entertainment system, CCTV, a sunken centre toilet, a drinks facility, and a fridge.
Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
The coach will be used on corporate hires, UK and international tours, airport transfers, sports team movements and airline crew shuttles.
