What a truly shocking photo of a bald and very dangerous tyre on a vehicle belonging to First Essex [routeone/Bad Week/6 June].

I would ask Steve Hartman, the Operations Manager, do the drivers actually carry out a first-use check before they take the vehicle out? And how many drivers have driven this vehicle over the last 28 days and signed it off as ok to run?

It’s a clear systems failure, which does First Essex no credit whatsoever.
