As well as its core electronic onboard systems, Actia was promoting its own electric drive unit for coaches and buses.
Currently undergoing trials in Europe, the electric motor is already installed on a double-decker bus, with potential to come to the UK from next year. With all of Actia’s electronics available with it, from diagnostics to tracking, telematics and passenger entertainment, Engineering & Quality Manager Chris Carter calls it “a complete turnkey solution”.
