Oxfordshire council "banned” the "Brexit Facts Bus" – an anti-Brexit bus – from stopping in a street in Oxford, saying it could not "permit political advertising on the highway". The bus started a tour of the UK last week, but was told it couldn’t park in Broad Street when it visited the city on Monday (26 February).
John Tanner, secretary of the Oxford European Association, called it an "extraordinary" attack on free speech.
