After operating for 364 days in 2018, Arriva has revealed that its buses travelled over 44m miles carrying, on average, 9m passengers every month.
The operator also reports that over 40,000 hours of rail replacement bus services were provided throughout last year.
Arriva’s Regional Managing Director Phil Stone says: “It’s extremely promising to see the number of people travelling by bus every month, something that we hope to see increase to help contribute to reducing carbon emissions and road congestion.”
