Altogether, Back Roads Touring has taken six EVM Grand Tourer minis

Six Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with coachbuilt Grand Tourer bodywork form a significant delivery to Back Roads Touring of Chiswick. They were supplied by EVM Direct (0845 520 5160).

All have 19 Executive Class seats with three-point belts and leather upholstery. Non-slip Tarabus flooring is fitted, along with an auxiliary hot water heater, full-length convector radiators and a Webasto roof-mounted saloon air-conditioning unit.

Panoramic glazing is fitted all round and pleated full-draw curtains have also been specified.

A coach-style rear incorporates a powered parallel lift door. Each vehicle’s boot measures 2.8m3 and additional luggage space is within the twin side lockers.

Each minicoach has a Masats powered plug door and three-step entry. Power is from the 163bhp OM 651 engine coupled to the 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
