Surrounded by 2,000 acres of Grade I-listed Capability Brown parkland, a Walled Garden behind it and a spring Woodland Garden two miles away on the Estate, the Robert Adam-designed Bowood House – home to the Lansdowne family since 1754 – is at the heart and soul of a selection of attractions for groups.

Opening its 2018 season for spring on 1 April and extending through to 1 November, Bowood House & Gardens has announced four guided tours which each focus on a theme.

The themes – Bowood House, Capability Brown’s parkland, the Walled Garden and Dr. Joseph Priestley – allow groups to explore more of Bowood and its history in more depth.

Guided tours start at £4.50pp, and complimentary admission and an £8 catering voucher are available for coach drivers.
