BriteAngle has flashing, high-intensity LEDs that can be seen from 300m

Road Safety Designs has developed BriteAngle, a warning triangle that thanks to its flashing, high-intensity LEDs will allow a hazard to be seen from up to 300 metres away in all weathers and at all times of the day or night.

BriteAngle helps drivers and their passengers stay safe when stopped at the side of the road or on a hard shoulder.

It is the brainchild of Road Safety Designs MD Stephen Wornham, who has worked with universities and the emergency services to develop it.

“The LEDs mean that drivers don’t have to walk any distance from where they have stopped and put themselves in danger of approaching traffic. Minicoach and minibus drivers can even attach it directly to the rear of their vehicle.”

With financial backing from businessman Sir Stanley Thomas OBE, Road Safety Designs has a range of safety innovations in development, a number of which will be part of the BriteAngle family.
