Transport Focus Director David Sidebottom revealed the results of its Bus Passenger Survey at the show.
Published in March, the survey shows a high level of customer satisfaction, with 87% of people satisfied with their overall journey. Factors considered include price, punctuality, and scheduling.
Mr Sidebottom also emphasised the important role that drivers play as they were the top motivation for satisfaction, while bus environment and comfort came second.
The results can be used by operators to deliver and improve customer service, said Mr Sidebottom.
