Stagecoach’s Christmas campaign has raised over £2,500 for two charities in Hampshire, thanks to the generosity of passengers who travelled on the specially decorated ‘Santa Bus’ routes across Basingstoke, Havant and Portsmouth.
Throughout December, Santa was behind the wheel of a Stagecoach bus, raising money for local charities: Sam's Haven and St Michael's Hospice.
Gordon Frost, Stagecoach South's Operations Director, says: “Our Santa Bus has become a great tradition for the local communities served.
“We are delighted to be supporting Sam's Haven and St Michael's Hospice and I’m sure that our customers will be pleased knowing that they have helped raise such an amazing amount for a great cause.”
