Claire Thompson moves to Continental department at NAGT

Claire Thompson of Norman Allen Group Travel (NAGT) has been promoted.

After six years of developing the wholesaler’s inbound market, she now takes on the additional responsibility of managing the Continental Tours Department.

NAGT says this allows MD Paul Mallon, who has been managing the Continental team for some years, to spend more time growing the wider business.

He will maintain involvement with the company’s tours to Scandinavia and will continue to oversee NAGT’s substantial programme of tours to the 2020 Oberammergau Passion Play.

Continuity of client contact is assured with the experienced Continental team, supervised by Tania Blaauw who, in 2018, celebrates her 18th year with NAGT.

Claire says: “I am looking forward to returning to the wholesale market, working with coach operators again and developing the European product we offer our clients.”

Paul Mallon adds: “With Oberammergau 2020 fast approaching, I will be able to devote time to this key event as well as my role as company MD.”
