Visitors to the British Travel and Tourism Show (BTTS), to be held at the NEC Birmingham this week on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 September, will be able to attend a panel session titled Managing a coach operation: Agility and resilience. The content forms part of the trade show’s extensive seminar line-up.
Taking place on 22 September at 1330hrs and hosted by consultant Stuart Render of Stuart Render Tourism, the newly announced session will examine what managing a coach operation through challenging times looks like and how to adapt, respond flexibly and develop a business for success.
Panel members will provide a cross-section of the coach sector. They are:
- John Docherty, founder and Managing Director of Harmony Coach Holidays
- Colin Duncan, Director of Dunwood Travel
- Robert Shaw, Director of Harry Shaw, Chair of the Coach Tourism Association and representing Coventry UK City of Culture.
Other keynote seminar content has already been announced by organiser Diversified Communications UK. Speakers there include representatives of VisitEngland, Tourism Alliance, the Confederation of Passenger Transport and Travlaw LLP.
Around 250 exhibitors will be at BTTS. Many will be present for the first time. All will highlight new and refreshed products that will provide group travel organisers and coach and tour operators with inspiration and ideas for group travel experiences.
