Tributes have been paid after it was announced a 36-year-old man died following a collision with a bus on Newcastle’s Redheugh Bridge.
The man was believed to have been the driver of the taxi which collided with the single-decker Stagecoach bus last week (10th May).
Six other people were injured and a 53-year-old man, thought to be a Stagecoach bus driver, was taken to hospital. His condition is serious but not life-threatening.
