Vehicle climate control specialist Eberspächer UK constantly offers solutions to suit the plethora of interior layouts that exist in minicoach and minibus fleets – and, with electric vehicles, there is no let-up for the foreseeable future as it comes up with new ideas for the installation of and adaptation to new internal designs.
Eberspächer serves the market with three products: Hydronic, Airtronic and an air-conditioning range.
The Hydronic range is integrated into the vehicle coolant system and it is capable of pre-heating the engine and the saloon.
The Airtronic heater, meanwhile, works completely independently, and the air-conditioning range functions in combination with Hydronic or Airtronic to provide optimum climate control for passengers and staff alike.
Hydro-Climate control has become increasingly popular in urban areas and where vehicles have to operate all year round.
One benefit is that with the supply of dehumidified warm air on wet winter days as well as cool dry air in the summer, the windows are constantly demisted. Since there is no internal heater, there is more space within the vehicle for flexible or compact seating.
Eberspächer UK Managing Director Vince Lee says: “Our climate control technology is the best available, and equally importantly, it’s flexible.
“As a result, we thrive in this market. It’s vital that we remain versatile and innovative with our solutions to stay ahead of the pack when designs and driving technologies change.”
