A report from the Financing Sustainable Cities Initiative and Bloomberg New Energy Finance about electric buses says that despite their higher capital cost, the lifetime costs of some electric buses already makes them cheaper to operate than diesels.
It predicts that by 2030 electric and diesel upfront costs will reach parity.
