Long-serving former Head of Coach Sales Jonathan Prime steps up to lead dealership’s sales function

EvoBus (UK) has promoted Jonathan Prime to the position of Director Sales Mercedes-Benz.
He will take responsibility for the sales function of the wholly-owned dealership that supplies the Tourismo coach range, the Citaro bus and factory-finished Sprinter minicoaches and minibuses.
Mr Prime was formerly General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Coach Sales and he succeeds Marcus Watts, who has moved to take on a post in Germany.
Says Mr Prime: “After 10 successful years at EvoBus (UK), the time was right for a new challenge.
“I am very excited to take up this position and I am looking forward to working with, and being part of, the new Board of Management.
“Now is the perfect time for us as a business to reflect on what we have achieved and to focus on how we continue to grow while facing future challenges and opportunities.”
Since joining EvoBus (UK) in 2008, he has been credited with helping to form an “industry-leading” sales team that took the Mercedes-Benz coach brand from being a niche player to becoming the market favourite.
Mr Prime formerly held posts with MAN and Optare before his move to EvoBus (UK).
