First Essex bus drivers have been presented with the ‘GreenRoad Fleet Elite Award’, designed to reward and recognise the company’s greenest drivers on the road.
All First bus drivers are measured on their ‘DriveGreen’ performance – First’s unique system designed to provide customers with a safer, smoother journey, while also helping reduce the company’s fuel consumption.
Bus driver, Michal Kudia, was one of the five top drivers in the country to receive the award.
He says: “I’m really pleased to have received the award. It’s important to me that my customers have a safe and a smooth journey.”
