First West Yorkshire has partnered with Yorkshire Country Cricket Club to become its preferred travel partner for home matches.

To avoid the hassle of finding a parking space, or getting stuck in traffic Yorkshire Country Cricket Club is encouraging visitors to travel by bus.

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Commercial Director, Andy Dawson, says: “I’m confident this will prove to be a hugely popular partnership, particularly with our increasing number of T20 season ticket holders and supporters, who are continually looking for the most convenient and hassle-free ways of arriving at Emerald Headingley Stadium.

“First’s existing network of routes mean that people can link up with both city centre services which run right by Emerald Headingley Stadium. We hope that supporters take up the opportunity to enjoy T20 cricket to its fullest, at a world-renowned venue.”
