A new revival of the West End and Broadway musical Five Guys Named Moe will play a strictly 12-week run at London’s Marble Arch Theatre from 29 August.
Down on his luck, Nomax is newly single and broke, drinking his sorrows away. But in a wild night that he'll never forget, five guys named Moe – Big Moe, Little Moe, Eat Moe, Know Moe and Four-Eyed Moe – are on hand to help him party his way back to the straight and narrow.
The new Marble Arch Theatre has been designed specifically for the show, and groups will be transported back to the enthralling jazz bars of 1940s New Orleans, complete with a cocktail bar for pre- and post- show drinks.
The musical features the hits of jazz legend Louis Jordan, including ‘Is You Is Or Is You Ain't (Ma Baby)’, ‘Early In The Morning’, ‘Choo Choo Ch’Boogie’, ‘Saturday Night Fish Fry’, plus many more performed live on stage by a world class jazz band.
First seen at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Five Guys Named Moe ran for four years in the West End, winning the Olivier award for Best Entertainment, before premiering on Broadway.
