Forbes Solicitors – one of the leading law firms in the north – has launched its new Transport & Logistics team, marking an official sector focus for the firm.
The firm has recruited renowned corporate lawyer, Jennifer Bell as Head of Transport and Logistics.
She joined Forbes from transport solicitors, Backhouse Jones where she spent eight years advising leading transport and logistics firms on matters relating to commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, commercial property and banking and finance.

Jennifer Bell regularly provides advice to members of the Road Haulage Association (RHA), Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT), Freight Transport Association (FTA), British Association of Removers (BAR) and the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) together with the associations themselves.
She is able to advise clients in the areas of corporate, commercial and commercial property and with her working knowledge of the clients operator’s licence is able to identify early on the impact that various steps will have on a fundamental aspect of a clients business in this sector.
