The Southern Wales Showcase is at the National Museum Cardiff in January

The UK tourism industry is being invited to “let the train take the strain” to the annual Southern Wales Group Buyer Showcase.

Great Western Railway has partnered with the event to offer coach tour operators and GTOs free first-class return tickets from London Paddington.

The event takes place on Monday 22 January from 1000-1500hrs, at the National Museum Cardiff.

Tour planners can catch the 0745hrs service from London, and leave Cardiff on the 1556.

Southern Wales Tourism has organised the showcase event in partnership with Steve Reed Tourism and the National Museum Cardiff.

“The business-to-business workshop will provide an opportunity for tour planners to meet a number of the key tourism suppliers from South Wales in a series of one-to-one pre-scheduled appointments,” says Vicky Jones of Southern Wales Tourism.
