RTITB, the setter of industry training standards and the preferred regulatory body for workplace transport training, has revealed a new app that eliminates paperwork from the Driver CPC training process.
“Every year, many drivers lose DCPC hours that they have already accrued through no fault of their own,” says RTITB Managing Director Laura Nelson.
“Our new app, MyRTITB DriverCPCFriend, tackles this by providing a completely paperless solution for the first time to streamline administration and improve accuracy and compliance.”
The app allows instructors to save significant time per course, resulting in more focus on delivering training while also meeting administration and compliance needs.
As well as removing all paperwork from the training administration process, there will be other benefits of the app. It will scan a driver’s ID to automatically confirm their eligibility, and transfer the driving licence number directly into the app, eliminating potential input error.
Instructors will be able to upload course data to the DVSA Recording and Evidencing system at the push of a button. The app also monitors instructors and informs them if they try to end the course early.
