The event at Samlesbury Hall attracted 40 tourism suppliers

The Group Travel Forum North, held by Steve Reed Tourism at Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire, was a success.

The event gave 40 exhibitors – hotels, attractions and destinations – access to tour planners to discuss group bookings and tour itineraries.

The event was arranged in conjunction with the Last Drop Village Hotel of Bolton, the Holiday Inn Express Burnley, Kittywake Cruises of Wigan, and Ena Mill Retail of Atherton.

And the 700-year-old venue of Samlesbury Hall – complete with its own resident witch – provided the perfect setting for the event.

Steve Reed, MD of Steve Reed Tourism, says: “The Group Travel Forum North was ideal for helping to boost group bookings. The event gave the sellers of group products the ideal chance to meet with real and active group buyers from all over the UK in the historic setting of wonderful Samlesbury Hall.

“Our next Forum – at the famous Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey – takes place on Monday 30 April, and we are now gearing up for that to help ensure it too is a big success.”
