Mobile Onboard’s new HT9000 mobile ticket and pass checking device

Mobile Onboard has updated its mTicketr hardware line-up by launching the new HT9000 mobile ticket validator.

The handheld unit has a large, responsive touchscreen that shares a new user interface with its big brother, the mTicketr ETM.

The HT9000 enables operators to quickly validate mobile tickets with QR codes or to carry out spot checks of tickets, including on school buses. The handheld unit also has a passenger count function that automatically updates.

Constant connectivity is delivered via either on-vehicle wi-fi or by cellular data. That gives the mTicketr HT9000 access to the latest data while providing near real-time reporting to back office systems.

The handheld unit also integrates perfectly with Mobile Onboard’s smart ticketing platform, My Mobile Tickets, enabling its scan data and passenger counts to be accessed in near real-time by the My Mobile Tickets back-office reporting and management system, KIOSK.
