Irizar UK formalises move into new Blyth headquarters

Irizar has officially moved into its new UK headquarters near Blyth, Nottinghamshire.

The new headquarters comprises modern purpose-built facilities with a showroom, coach handover areas, offices, and coach parking, alongside workshop and warehousing capability. The latter forms a platform for the launch of a new parts business, slated to come later in the year.

Irizar UK says the facility supports planned growth while enhancing customer experience. The manufacturer reports strong sustained UK performance over the last three years and record numbers of Irizar coaches being delivered into the market, backed by a robust order book extending through to 2027 and beyond.

“This is a significant transition for Irizar in the United Kingdom,” comments Andrew Blundell, Managing Director of Irizar UK. “Moving into our own headquarters reflects how the business has grown exponentially over the last couple of years, and the new facility gives us the capacity and infrastructure to further strengthen our market position and support continued growth.

“From initial business case through to operational reality, this has been a big project for us to manage during a very busy vehicle growth period, but I’m delighted to have the keys, and I look forward to welcoming our Customers into our new home.”

Adds Imanol Rego, CEO of Spanish parent Irizar S. Co-op: “This new headquarters is a clear reflection of Irizar’s long-term vision for the UK market. Irizar UK has delivered exceptional results in recent years, and this investment underlines the confidence we have in the team, the market, and the strength of our relationships with UK customers. It demonstrates our commitment to sustainable growth, local presence, and continued investment to support operators with high-quality products and service for many years to come.”
