KM Travel takes third VDL Futura FHD2

KM Travel of Chesterfield has taken delivery of a new VDL Futura FHD2, bringing the number of vehicles in use by the operator from VDL Bus & Coach UK to five. KM Travel have two other FHD2s and two VDL Bova Classics.

The 12.9-metre-long Euro-VI coach was handed over to proprietor Jonathan Meynell by Area Sales Manager Dale Johnson. The vehicle comes with 410 horsepower DAF Mx11 engine with an automated gearbox and ZF independent front wheel suspension. It also features PSVAR preparation, at-seat USBs, centre toilet, drinks machine two 19-inch LCD monitors, eight CCTV cameras and a toll window in the entrance door.

A spokesperson for VDL says: “VDL would like to thank Jonathan and Samantha Meynell for choosing another VDL Futura to add to their fleet.”
