This weekend, Lothian will be allowing children dressed as their favourite superheroes free travel on all city services to celebrate Edinburgh’s ‘City of Superheroes’.
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April, Lothian’s younger customers aged between five and 15 will be able to travel free on Lothian’s city buses with any fare paying adult if they are dressed as a superhero.
Gaynor Marshall, Communications Director of Lothian, said: “We have many superheroes of our own working across Lothian who go above and beyond to deliver for customers who rely on our services every day and we are excited to be involved in celebrating the release of Avengers: Infinity War this weekend with the City of Superheroes event.
“We hope our customers will get into the heroic spirit and join in the fun and we look forward to welcoming mini superheroes on board this weekend.”
To celebrate the release of the film, and Edinburgh's role as one of the film's locations, businesses across the city are working together to offer unique offers and hosting exciting events.
