Go-Ahead Group-owned bus operator Bluestar has offered an apprenticeship to aspiring engineer Luke Beard.
This follows Luke spending a year at Bluestar’s Eastleigh depot as part of The Rainbow Project, which works with local employers to secure employment in a chosen career for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in the Southampton area.
His apprenticeship will include a three-year NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with a fourth year training with Bluestar’s engineering team.
