Abi Buck, Arriva’s Social Media Manager, successfully completed this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon in 4hrs, 40mins, raising over £3,000 for mental health charity MIND.
She says: “I want to say thank you to everyone who sponsored me and supported me throughout my training journey; you all made it possible.”
In 2013, aged 25, Abi began experiencing mental health problems after repeatedly waking in the night with panic attacks. After battling with the problem for over a year, Abi turned to MIND.
After raising £2,065, Arriva Buses has pledged an additional £1,000 to the fundraising pot.
