Driver Martin Cross has been gearing up to swap the sound of his Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus stopping bell for the one rung at a boxing ring.
He was fighting in an eliminator bout during an evening of semi-professional boxing at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on Saturday (1 December) that could lead to him competing for the Midlands Cruiserweight Title next year.
NCT is one of Martin’s sponsors and has covered the cost of his fight shorts, gloves and entrance jacket.
