Heath Williams has been appointed Managing Director of Ipswich Buses.
He replaces the company’s interim MD, Rob Bellamy, who has led the company since December 2016.
Heath has been in the UK bus industry since the early 1980s and has held director-level roles with Stagecoach and Arriva for some 20 years, while overseeing commercial and contracted coach and bus operations in Wales, Lancashire, London and the Home Counties.
The Chair of Ipswich Buses Board, Chris Mole, says: “We are immensely grateful to Rob for all he has done over the last 18 months to improve our operation.
“But his tenure was always on an interim basis and I am delighted that we have secured someone with as much experience as Heath has as our new Managing Director.
“I know that under his leadership the company will continue to go from strength to strength.”
