Woodall Nicholson Group, the owner of the Mellor and Treka businesses, has reported more than 30% year-on-year financial growth.
Two years on from purchase of those bus manufacturers out of administration by Belgian entrepreneur Guido Dumarey, the parent company says performance was “strong” across all its interests.
Among the 1,750 vehicles delivered across its core markets, which also includes the manufacture of emergency service and ceremonial vehicles and minibus conversions, are the Mellor Strata and Maxima accessible minibuses, which debuted this year.
Woodall Nicholson employs 350 people in the UK and says it supports 1,000 additional roles through its supply chains.
The business boasts a “strong order pipeline” and promises more new products in 2026.
“We have built a strong, resilient business with clear direction,” says John Randerson, Woodall Nicholson Group CEO.
“We are growing profitably, investing for the long term, and remaining focused on quality, innovation and customer care.
We are supported by a wealth of talented people in all our business units whose dedication and commitment are instrumental in supporting our business, our customers, our suppliers and our growth aspirations.
“With a healthy pipeline and a strengthened balance sheet, I look forward to continuing our sustainable growth in the years ahead.”
