Eberspächer introduced what it calls “significant energy and efficiency improvements” to its Airtronic D2 and Airtronic D4 diesel-fired heaters at the CV Show.
The new versions deliver lower power consumption and reduced weight, and they have almost double the service life of previous models. They also come with quieter fuel pumps, brushless motors and a new CAN interface.
Both heaters can be controlled remotely from Eberspächer’s EasyStart web-based portal, and they have high altitude capability of up to 3,000m.
Also compatible with the Airtronic heaters are newly-released evaporators, which provide a steady supply of dehumidified air. In arduous service environments, service life is increased.
