Nottingham City Transport is displaying the first five of its 30 new Scania/ADL Enviro400 double-deckers in a launch event in the city’s Old Market Square on 19 May from 1000-1800hrs.

They will operate on five routes from this summer, with emissions being 84% lower than equivalent new Euro 6 diesel double-deckers.

NCT is inviting visitors to hop on board, meet the team behind the scenes, including representatives from Scania, ADL, ZF Services UK and Roadgas, and find out more about the greenest buses on the road.

Nottingham’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Mike Edwards will be officially launching the bio gas buses at 10am and there’ll be information, ‘green giveaways’ and complimentary teas and coffees provided by local company Blend – www.blendnottingham.co.uk
