23 March 2017 will officially be recognised as Group Travel Organiser Day across the UK and Ireland.

Created by the team at the British Tourism & Travel Show (BTTS), this nationally-recognised event will shine a light on these important individuals who work tirelessly to create exciting and engaging itineraries for the groups that they serve.

BTTS at the NEC, Birmingham on 23 March will set the stage for the ultimate celebration of GTOs, with dedicated speaker sessions plus 250+ top attractions, destinations and hotels for GTOs to explore.

Entry is free if you register in advance.

David Maguire, Director of BTTS, says: “National GTO Day has been launched to recognise the hard work and dedication of GTOs across the UK and Ireland.

“Often overlooked and at times underappreciated, these important individuals work tirelessly, creating interesting and inventive group outings for a variety of people.

“As important visitors to the British Tourism & Travel Show, we wanted to take a moment to recognise them.

“BTTS will be home to the largest gathering of GTOs in the country on that day and will be the perfect place to network with your industry peers.”
