Fuchs Lubricants has unveiled Titan Cargo 228.61 SAE 5W-30, the first of its products to meet the required API FA-4 specification for new Mercedes-Benz-engined coaches and buses.
The new oil specification was created by Mercedes-Benz to help with fuel economy. Fuchs describes the product as “an ultra-high-performance, extreme fuel economy engine oil.”
Suitable for Euro 6 Mercedes-Benz engines, the oil offers good cold starting and low fuel consumption while retaining excellent wear protection and suitability for high operating temperatures through a ‘boosted additive’ system.
