‘Raising money for Transaid’

I’m taking part in the Transaid charity cycle ride across South Africa next month.

Participants will cycle a total of 450km over the course of 5 days

Unfortunately, due to illness which started as far back as mid November, I’ve not as yet had chance to even contemplate starting any training, and likewise I’ve not been able to do any fundraising.

I’ve therefore been forced to leave everything as late as possible, and I now find myself with only four weeks left before we go to train and fundraise.

This is made even harder by the fact that I’m now totally unfit, having done virtually no exercise since just after June 2015.

Out of the 44 participants taking part, I’m the only one from the bus and coach industry. I will of course be trying myself to do all the same fundraising that I did for Tanzania, in an attempt to hit my self-imposed target of £5,000.
