John Roe and his team were at the show promoting latest version of Roeville PHCloud, the company’s private hire booking platform.
PHCloud allows operators to take and manage bookings, customers, payments, and scheduling of drivers, vehicles and all associated reporting.
Version 2.0 of PHCloud comes with a variety of updates in advance of Roeville’s upcoming drivers’ app, including new scheduling tools and a restructure of its booking section.
Each vehicle and driver will have its own calendar, which allows scheduling of diary events for vehicles and drivers. This includes non-booking related items such as annual leave, MoTs and preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs).
Roeville has also re-written its booking and quote form, which it says has been completely overhauled to be “more intuitive”, allowing operators to take quotes and bookings and build up jobs, feeders and elements.
The drivers’ app is due for full release in the next four to eight weeks. The company says it will include walk-round check functionality for defect reporting, and a full back-end system with PHCloud to manage defects, from initial reports to fixes and updates.
Roeville has also showcased its tours and e-commerce products: T3, a full booking and management platform for selling tours and WebRes, its e-commerce platform for selling tours and daytrips in tandem with T3.
“The way our product development takes place is by speaking to our customers, and listening to what’s changing in the industry,” says Business Development Manager Dan Caddick. “We’re very reactive in the development of T3, PHCloud and WebRes. We have a lot of customers who stay with us because our products change as their business changes.”
Roeville is encouraging any operators that are uncertain about moving into a managed booking system to ask about its two-year interest-free purchase model.
