Scania has announced the appointment of Tony Fascia as its Regional Account Manager for Scotland and Northern England.

Mr Fascia brings to the manufacturer more than 30 years’ experience in the coach and bus industry.

He spent the last 27 years at Alexander Dennis, where he was most recently Contracts Pricing Manager. His previous roles there included Project Manager and Contract Manager.

He started out as a coach builder, with five years at Lothian Buses before taking up the same role with Alexander Dennis.

“I wanted to take my career to the next level, and Scania had always stood out to me as a company I’d be proud to represent,” Mr Fascia says. “Throughout my time in the industry, I consistently heard great things about Scania, both as an employer and as a respected, premium brand.

“So, when the opportunity came up, it felt like the perfect moment to make the move, and I grabbed it with both hands.”

Speaking of his goals in his new position and hopes to help grow Scania’s footprint in the UK, he adds: “I want to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers, help them succeed, and ensure Scania remains their first choice.

“Alongside that, I’m focused on continuously developing my skills, contributing to the wider team’s success, and playing a part in strengthening Scania’s reputation in the UK market.”
