WEX Europe Services, owner of the Esso Card fuel card, has announced that its customers could receive VAT and excise duty reimbursements in just two weeks from receipt of their invoice after it entered a partnership with specialist VAT reclaim firm ATS.
The VAT reclaim service covers fuel card purchases across Europe and it is available to all Esso Card customers, who will be charged a fee only on successful claims.
In the UK, Esso Card fuel cardholders have access to 40% of the country’s forecourts. All participating Esso sites, as well as BP and Shell service stations, accept the Esso Card.
WEX Europe Services has a portfolio of around 90,000 feet customers, buying over 2bn litres of fuel annually.
