GM Coachwork now sponsors Totnes RFC for the 2017-2018 season

GM Coachwork has been named a sponsor of its local rugby team, Totnes RFC, for the 2017-2018 season.

The club claims to be the town’s oldest sporting institution and the minibus converter’s logo will adorn the sleeves of its match kit.

Totnes RFC become affiliated to the Rugby Football Union in 1889, although there is evidence that it was in existence before that.

The First XV currently plays in the Devon League 1. Totnes RFC also runs a Second XV that plays friendly matches, and on several occasions each year a veterans’ side is fielded. At the time of writing, the First XV were in fifth place in the league.

GM says that the sponsorship is indicative of its commitment to the local community, and it follows the converter’s support for a number of other local initiatives.

“I’m honoured to follow a rugby club as dedicated as Totnes,” says MD Nigel Collins.
