I recently joined the Transport Friendly Society (TPS) – a not-for-profit society to cover those who work in the industry and their families. For a small amount to pay each month, the benefits are fantastic.
TFS offers tax free savings, sickness benefit and is approved for Child Trust Fund, and it’s transport staff working for the transport industry.
Contributions can either go straight from your pay or can be made by direct debit. I think all transport companies should be promoting this service to their staff.
