Bournemouth operator Yellow Buses is supporting the local hospitality sector with the wrap of a double-decker to promote career opportunities within it for young people. The bus depicts images of some of those individuals that already work in hotels in the area.
The joint project between the operator and BH Area Hospitality Association (BAHA) has been created and funded as part of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council’s Bounce Back Scheme.
Yellow Buses is a platinum patron of BAHA. Managing Director David Squire says that the operator is “delighted” to support the Association’s work, adding that a successful tourism industry in the town is key to its summer revenues through various leisure related services.
Adds BAHA Chair Tim Seward: “The wrap on the double-decker will remain on the bus for at least the next 12 months, which will no doubt go some way to showing people that working in hospitality can be an amazing career path to choose.
“We are delighted to have worked with Yellow Buses on this project, and we look forward to seeing the bus out and about over the coming weeks and months.”
