As from Monday (20 November) Go-Ahead owned Anglianbus was rebranded Konectbus, with its seven remaining routes transferred. The Beccles depot remains open.
Anglianbus operates to the south of Norwich, with Konectbus to the north. Go-Ahead’s two other east Anglian operations, Chambers and Hedingham, retain their identities. In total, it operates 195 vehicles in the region
It is understood that a fleet refresh is planned, which might see the mainly yellow-based Anglianbus livery replaced.
Established in 1981 by David Pursey, Anglianbus was bought by Go-Ahead in April 2012, when it ran 71 buses. It now runs 20.
