Members of the Bus and Coach Association (BCA) and Federation of Passenger Transport NI (FPT) met with Minister Jesse Norman and other Department for Transport officials for the first time.
Discussions were said to be constructive and fruitful, with a commitment from the Minister to continue engagement and communication moving forward.
The BCA and FPT NI reinforced their support for accessible transport by improving the accessibility of transport to people with disabilities who cannot benefit from existing conventional services.
All those present agreed that the priority remains to have a system of transport that is safe, fair and compliant.
