Two Volvo B8Rs with Leopard bodywork have entered service with Borders Buses, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166).

They have been put to work on private hire and school work in the Scottish Borders region. Each of the 12.8m coaches seats 72. Among the amenities fitted are CCTV including a reversing camera and an audio system. A passenger information system is also fitted.

Addition of the Leopards to the Borders Buses fleet forms part of the West Coast Motors Group subsidiary’s ongoing investment in new vehicles, says MD Colin Craig.

“We have a long-established and successful relationship with Alexander Dennis and its Plaxton operation, in terms of both coach and bus purchases.

“Our aim is to stay at the forefront of the industry by providing best-in-class services.”
