City Circle will take delivery of its 100th Scania Irizar coach next year as part of a 20-strong order. The delivery will be made up of 18 tri-axle K 410 EBs and a pair of two-axle K 360 EB chassis, all with i6S bodywork.
The centenary coach for City Circle will be the first to be delivered from 2020’s order. It represents “a significant milestone in the companies’ premium partnership,” says Scania.
The 18 tri-axles will be 13.2m examples with 53 seats with drop-down tables, footrests and magazine nets. They will also each have a sunken centre toilet and a Frenzel servery.
The other two coaches will be 10.8m examples with 36 seats and half-leather trim. They will each have a floor-mounted toilet with an “extensive” servery that will be installed by AD Coach Systems.
Satellite navigation and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels will be common across all 20 vehicles.
