Bournemouth West MP Conor Burns visited the town’s Yellow Buses and heard how congestion is driving up costs. He was shown around the Yeomans Way depot by MD of the RATP subsidiary, Andrew Smith.
Says Mr Smith: “We spoke about the difficulties and pressures facing bus operators and the problem of congestion across the conurbation.”
“It’s good to be able to have a chance to explain to people what it takes to keep a large fleet of vehicles on the road.”
MP Robert Syms, who represents Poole, also visited the depot and heard about the company’s expansion plans.
