Parnell Coaches marks 20 years with new minicoach

Parnell Coaches of Honiton has celebrated over 20 years in business by taking delivery of its first new vehicle. It is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minicoach with a 22-seat Cento conversion.

The Sprinter joins a 10-strong fleet, all of which have between 16 and 35 seats. Director Tim Parnell (pictured) says that a successful visit to Cento’s factory in Romania led to the order.

“I was very impressed with the set-up, the product and the build quality. That was particularly the case with the new Sprinter and its 5,500kg GVW chassis,” he adds.

“We have never had a brand-new coach before, but I have a great team at Parnell Coaches so hopefully this will be the first of many new vehicles.”
